Services for meeting planners

The Traverse City Convention & Visitors Bureau offers a wide variety of complimentary services, providing the convention or meeting planner the assistance and resources necessary to assure a successful meeting or event.

Site Selection Coordination
If you are unfamiliar with the area, allow our staff to help by identifying hotel or resort properties that meet your specifications. We can provide information including meeting facilities, sleeping rooms, date availability, rates, amenities and special program requirements. At your request, we can also solicit individual proposals from properties that meet your requirements, or even arrange and host a site inspection of the facilities, as well as of our community.

Promotional Material
The Traverse City Convention & Visitors Bureau provides a number of Promotional Material designed to familiarize people about our destination, as well as to increase the attendance at your meeting or event.

Publicity Materials
We have a complete library of photographs to help with your meeting promotion. Our Media Relations Specialist can also provide you with Traverse City press kits and media lists.

On-Site Registration Assistance
The Traverse City Convention & Visitors Bureau has over 20 on-call, skilled professionals, ready to assist with your registration needs. Our registrars are available to provide services to conventions, meetings, trade shows and seminars at our member properties. Being local residents, they take pride in doing the best job possible for you, while providing interesting and accurate information about our community.
