Traverse City offers many opportunities to experience both local and world-class acts. A perennial favorite venue is the outdoor Open Space Park in the downtown district, but large concerts frequently are offered at the Leelanau Sands Showroom in Peshawbestown, the historic Lars Hocksted Auditorium at Central Grade School and either the open-air Kresge Theater or Corson Auditorium at Interlochen Arts Academy. Or visit the area during the mid-summer Traverse City Film Festival to view cutting edge movies.
