This traveling exhibit of Inuit art is drawn from the extensive collection of about 1,000 pieces held by Dennos Museum Center.  Approximately 20 stone sculptures and 30 prints by artists of the Canadian Arctic are featured.

Rosenstein Exhibit at the Dennos Museum Center

Location: NMC Dennos Musem Center

The Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College presents a sales exhibition of the work of Mordechai Rostenstein.  This versatile artist creates award-winning limited edition lithographs, which reflect the rich and ancient traditions of Judaism.  His vibrant shapes and colors enhance synagogue interiors, tapestries, paintings, murals,and silk screen prints.

The Dennos Museum is open daily 10am to 5pm and Sundays 1pm-5pm.  Admission is $4.00 for adults, $2.00 for children.

Traverse City: Yesterday

A photographic and historical artifact exhibition featuring photos by S.E. Wait, Traverse City's "Renaissance Man".  Traverse City is depicted in the early days, reflecting life in the last half of the 19th century.  General admission $1.50-$3.00.

Downtown Dinner and a Movie

Time: 7:00pm
Location: City Opera House

Tickets available at the City Opera House Box Office from Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm for the romantic comedy "Some Like it Hot" starring Billy Wilder, Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon.  With a purchase of a ticket you will receive a discount coupon for eleven participating downtown restaurants.  Adults $7, seniors/children 12 years and under $5.  Doors open at 6:00pm.
