The Traverse City area hosts a wide variety of festivals throughout the year. By far our largest annual event is the National Cherry Festival, held in early July in downtown Traverse City. Other major celebrations throughout the year are listed below, with links to the official sites if available.

Happy Apple Days
Happy Apple Days in Downtown Traverse City will run from October 3-10. The streetscapes will be decked with cornstalks and festive mums. Merchants will have bushels of apples to share with their customers. For more information call (231) 922-2050 or visit www.downtowntc.com.
Arts of the Woodland Indians
This exhibition draws from the museum's collection of art by the Woodland Indians. Not only does this exhibition include excellent examples of quillwork and sweetgrass basketry from both Michigan and Ottawa artists, but also prints by artists of the famed woodland or Anishinabe style of painting, such as Norval Morrisseau and Roy Thomas.
Hours: Mon-Sat 10 am - 5 pm, Sun 1 - 5 pm, Thurs - Open until 8 pm. Admission: Adults $6, Children $4 The museum is closed on major holidays.
Umphrey's McGee
Porterhouse Productions Presents Umphrey's McGee with Macpodz. Doors open at 7:00 PM. Advance tickets $25, Day of Show $30. Get tickets online, at City Opera House or at Oryana in Traverse City.
Zonta Fashion Show
Please join us for our annual Fashion Show! We will be spotlighting area stores with their latest fall/winter fashions on the runway while you enjoy a delicious plated lunch. Your ticket includes the lunch, the runway show, and admission to our Art of Accessories shopping area which features a curated selection of local artisans. This year is a Pink Ribbon theme in support of October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Tickets are $40 per person and are available for purchase now at 947-3195. Order now for the best seats!
